Notes: |
A high air monitoring station monitors air quality over a broad area. It is positioned in a way that the air it measures represents, as much as possible, the general quality of air in the region. A transportation air monitoring station is intended to monitor pollutants deriving from vehicles. This station is located near major transportation routes. Measurements are taken at the height of vehicles, as well as at locations such as schoolyards, where there is intensified human activity. |
