On 31 December, 2019, Israel's population is estimated at 9,136,000 residents
6,772,000 are Jews (74.1% of the total population), 1,916,000 - Arabs (21.0%) and 448,000 Others (4.9%)
During 2019, Israel's population increased by 1.9%. 78% of the increase was due to natural growth and 22% was from the international migration balance
During the year, approximately 177,000 babies were born (74.0% born to Jewish mothers, 23.2% to Arab mothers and 2.8% to mothers of Others
Approximately 34,000 new immigrants arrived in Israel during 2019
