תקציר
The Statistical Abstract of Israel has been published annually by the Central Bureau of Statistics since the establishment of the State of Israel.
The abstract offers key data concerning diverse aspects of life for a wide range of users. It also includes historical data from which the social and economic development of Israel can be studied.
Findings which appear in the abstract are based on ongoing and single-instance surveys and on censuses which are conducted periodically, all performed by the CBS. The abstract also integrates data which have been received from various external sources (governmental offices, various institutions, et al).
The information in the yearbook is in Word, Excel or PDF format.
In addition, the abstract includes diagrams and maps, which are based mainly on its data.
