This publication presents data on persons licenced to drive in Israel at the end of 2023. The data in this publication, as in publications on the same topic from previous years, are based on processing conducted by the Central Bureau of Statistics using the file of registered drivers of the Licencing Office of the Ministry of Transport and Road Safety.
The publication includes detailed tables on the topic of persons licenced to drive in Israel (persons having a driver's licence) by various characteristics: type of vehicle they are licenced to drive, year their licence was first issued, population group, sex, age, locality of residence and driving restrictions.
The publication includes a comparative table for previous years.
