תקציר
This publication presents data on immigrants in 2002-2006 as well as potential immigrants,tourists who changed their status to immigrants or to potential immigrants and immigratingcitizens during that period. The data are presented by last country of residence, country ofbirth, age, sex, marital status, first locality of residence in Israel, number of years ofschooling, occupation abroad and other characteristics.In addition to this annual publication, the Bureau presents monthly data on immigrationpublished in the Monthly Bulletin of Statistics. Selected annual data are also presented in theStatistical Abstract of Israel.
This publication was prepared at the Central Bureau of Statistics with the collaboration of theDepartment of Immigration and Absorption at the Jewish Agency.
