Population

​​​Because Israel's population is constantly growing, data are required for urban planning, socio-economic policy-making, administrative decision-making, etc. In this topic, data are presented on the major demographic characteristics of the population: population growth and its sources; population distribution and density; population prediction; and immigration and emigration. Data are also presented on household and family structure, and on the main components of change in families (fertility, marriage, and divorce).
